The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 is a
convertible Windows 8 machine with lots of features but also some limitations.
So you get great performance but miss that little extra
compared to other high-end Ultra books. You also get a complete and well-functioning keyboard with track pad, but with the limitation of including small backspace
and enter keys.
Additionally you get an Ultra book with
tablet mode, but this mode
is due to the high weight and large dimensions barely usable. Fortunately, the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga
13 also has a standby mode that
uses as (sort of) tablet on your lap and
on the table a little more comfortable. Pluses are fine display with good
viewing angles, the sleek and
elegant design and various connection options. Downsides are the lack of backlighting
for the keyboard, the continuous blowing fans
and the unnecessary bloat ware
that Lenovo flour
avert.
As is so often stated, this is another product which compromises are. It is not the best of both worlds. However the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 is definitely more of an Ultra book then a tablet. If you are looking for a convertible Ultra book device which function is most important than the IdeaPad Yoga despite the limitations an excellent choice, especially when we look at the price range of between 1,100 and 1,300 euros. If you have more money to spend than the Dell XPS 12 is a better choice with a Full HD display, a Core i7 processor and a bloat ware-free installation.
